Dan Herman is the Director of Tikkun Olam in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, and Director of International Programs at BINA. Dan grew up in the Reform Movement in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and got a degree History and Hebrew Studies at the University of Wisconsin. He is a graduate of the Tikkun Olam program himself, as well as of the “Aviv” Jewish studies program at the Secular Yeshiva. Dan also served in the IDF Foreign Relations Unit. Since making Aliyah in 2008, Dan has worked at the Tikkun Olam program in both recruitment and educational capacities, and is now serving in his fourth year as director of the program. He lives in Rishon Lezion with his wife, Lihi, and their baby daughter, Tome.
