Graham Carpenter is a new addition to the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ) Executive Board representing the UK. He currently works as the Community Coordinator for New Israel Fund UK, leading on its strategy for engaging young people in social justice in Israel. Growing up, he served as a leader in the youth movement LJY-Netzer before becoming a national movement worker in 2013, and has since gone on to become the youngest trustee for Liberal Judaism, fulfilling the role of National Officer for Music. After participating in the Roswell Klal Yisrael Fellowship in 2016, he has since been involved in the development of a brand new egalitarian Progressive Jewish community in Willesden Green, London. He also teaches Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Kabbalat Torah classes at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue, and this year has taken on the role of co-chairing the programming team for Limmud Conference UK 2017.
