Kathryn Fleisher of Temple Beth Israel in Cleveland, Ohio, is currently serving as the NFTY North American President. Kathryn has been an active member and leader of the Reform Jewish Youth Movement for the past six years. Beginning her NFTY journey while in 8th grade, to becoming active in social justice work through her temple, Kathryn has always found a home within the Jewish community. Kathryn is also a proud alumna of many Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) programs, having attended the URJ Kutz Camp, the URJ Goldman Union Camp Institute (GUCI), the URJ Biennial 2015, and many other conferences and events. She is currently on a gap year between high school and college, serving NFTY, and will be attending the University of Pittsburgh next fall, majoring in Politics & Philosophy and Women’s Studies. Kathryn is deeply invested in ensuring that the Reform Movement is relevant, meaningful, and accessible to all Reform Jews.
