Mathilda Wise was born and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She is 18 years old, and enjoys playing guitar, singing and making art. She went to a co-educational Uniting Church school, and will study a double degree in Science and Global Studies. Her goal is to work for the World Health Organisation as a researcher developing vaccinations for previously incurable diseases and viruses which are prevalent in developing countries around the world. Mathilda has been involved with Netzer for eleven years, which she feels has provided a basis for her development as an individual in today’s society. It has helped shape her ideas on a range of social and religious issues which affect our world today.
