Rabbi Charley Baginsky
Rabbi Charley Baginsky has been involved with the Liberal Jewish movement since childhood – as both a youth leader with LJY-Netzer and an educator. After studying Theology, first at Cambridge and then King’s College London, Charley spent several years working in Israel, which included a period at Leo Baeck in Haifa, while she simultaneously studied at Haifa University.
Currently, Rabbi Charley Baginsky is the Director of Strategy and Partnerships for Liberal Judaism, UK. Prior to her movement role she was a community rabbi for ten years. Following roles as Chair of Liberal Judaism’s Rabbinic Conference and the Chair of National Conferences, she moved into developing the strategic and fundraising portfolios for Liberal Judaism. One of her responsibilities includes the management of the Israel Desk for the Alliance for Progressive Judaism, UK. She is the mother to three children: Joshua, Eliana and Cassia.
