Rabbi Richard Address
Rabbi Richard Address was ordained at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR), and served on the staff of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) for over 3 decades as a Regional Director, and as founder and director of the Department of Jewish Family Concerns. His work with congregations led to the creation of Jewish Sacred Aging and it’s website. Jewish Sacred Aging is a project that seeks to help congregations embrace the potential of the longevity revolution and the “spiritual capital” of older adults. Rabbi Address also teaches at HUC-JIR in New York City on family-related topics in the Rabbinic and Education programs, as well as the Doctor of Ministry program.
Rabbi Address has served congregations in California and New Jersey. He lives outside of Philadelphia, where he hosts a weekly radio program called Boomer Generation Radio. In addition, Rabbi Address serves as co-chair of the Committee of Spirituality and Diversity for C-TAC (Coalition to Transform Advanced Care) and Convener of Jewish Advisory Group for Samaritan Hospice in Southern New Jersey. Married to Jane, he is also a very doting grandfather!
