Sharona Yekutiel is a mother of three and lives in Jerusalem. She holds an M.A. in non-profit management, and a B.A. in Education and Jewish Studies. She has also completed a course in spiritual guidance. Sharona has been working at the Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism (IMPJ) for 15 years, and has served as director of Keren b’Kavod, the humanitarian fund of the IMPJ, for the past 10 years. She has created and written life skills development programs for underprivileged populations, and has initiated and developed projects with IMPJ congregations in the field of humanitarian assistance, women’s empowerment programs and community initiatives for the promotion of a Jewish-Arab shared society (such as the “Meeting Neighbors” project).
