Stéphane Bédèr’s involvement with the Jewish community started by leading and organizing Jewish camps in France and trips in England and Israel.
He has assisted with the development of a multilingual Progressive community in Paris, Kehilat Gesher, and in 2005 was elected to be president of the Federation of French-speaking Communities (FJLF), regrouping Progressive communities across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
Stéphane is also the president of the newly-created Assemblée Générale du Judaïsme Libéral de France, Vice Chairman of the European Union for Progressive Judaism (EUPJ) and Senior Vice Chairman of the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ).
Stéphane works as a headhunter in Paris.
